Abdul Wahab Abdullah Al-Sayed Ali Al-Rifai (January 22, 1973) is a Kuwaiti novelist, writer, publisher, lecturer and engineer. He is considered one of the first Kuwaiti and perhaps Gulf writers to write in the world of the supernatural, science fiction, horror and detective literature. He began writing in 1998 through a series of scientific and cultural articles in a group of Kuwaiti magazines and newspapers. He then published his first book in 1999. He also founded the Kuwaiti publishing house Nova Plus in 2011. It is worth noting that some of his works have been converted into short films available on YouTube and feature films that have been shown in Kuwaiti cinemas, such as the film (Apartment Six) and the film (Baby). He has also presented more than 75 courses in the art of writing novels and short stories in most Gulf countries and his works are currently widely spread in most Arab countries. In 2016, he was honoured by the Amiri Diwan in Kuwait as one of the 100 most creative Kuwaiti figures.
