Guests continue to see and hear what may be the ghost of Zane Grey in certain rooms of the Hotel, no doubt trying to come up with many ideas for more ghostly westerns. * The ghost of a former Chicago Cub baseball player may still haunt the now abandoned Catalina Visitor Country Club, wandering through the courtyard into an area which once housed the locker rooms during spring training. * Other spirits of former employees, residents, and frequent tourists who do not want to leave the Island, still appear to haunt various residences and establishments, including the Casino, Hotel Catalina, the Inn at Mount Ada and even Vons Market. * A discussion of other paranormal activity outside Avalon, where ghostly phenomena have been encountered at Toyon Bay and the Isthmus Cove - Where Natalie Wood's spectre is rumored to still wander.
