Happy Are: Eight Short Studies on Identity, Destiny and Happiness in the Beatitudes (The Sermon on the Mount)

This work refers often to justice and judicial power, which is fundamental to the promise of realized hope in the Beatitudes - judicial power defined as the legitimate enforcement of the legislated graces through Jesus Christ that have been granted us in both our now God-given identity and God-given destiny. Each chapter stands on its own as an individual study, yet they share a common thread of identity, destiny and conclusively the path to happiness.In Our Father, the first book of this series, a case was made for the judicial power loaded inside the Lord’s Prayer. The licit right to enjoy our destiny requires first owning our identity in Jesus. The battle more than anything is a battle for our identity, which at its core is a legal argument in the courtroom of heaven. I can think of few subjects more in the headlines right now than that of identity. So many seem to obsess on available earthly identities that separate and sunder, rather than procuring the one that can liberate and unite. Our heavenly Father seats us in the heavenlies with Christ and has birthed in us a heavenly self. Our adversary presses his bid to drag us down to earth, keeping us strapped and bound to our planet schematics. Our heavenly identity is truth. Our earthly identity, though factual, has now become false, if it contradicts and conflicts with the new creation. Not that it isn’t important, quite the contrary. Because we are such flesh and blood, getting release from earthly identities is not humanly possible, but requires supernatural intervention. We, however, have a significant role to play, vigilantly affirming our gifted truth and facing down the liar with our Lawyer. This second volume continues the theme of identity and destiny, with the promise of a state of being that all of humanity has been striving for since creation.
