File format is Adobe Illustrator 8.0 .EPS which can be opened all the common vector editors and also in Photoshop if you want to convert them to raster images like PNG or JPG. I recommend using Illustrator to edit the colors just double click the swatch in the swatches panel , but it can also be done in Photoshop by using the "Hue/Saturation..." feature.
