May 10th 2020: Halcyon 2.2 Update! General improvements to the opentype feature code. Fixed a bug with the number sets not swapping in Adobe CC. The fraction feature now works a little smarter. Capitals to small caps now works properly too. Improved vertical metrics for the whole family, and improved rendering for Windows machines! --- Halcyon was the result a 4 year long design process. Built on the foundations of classic typefaces such as Futura, Gill Sans and ITC Avant Garde, but mixes their geometric structure with humanist qualities. The result is a strange hybrid of sub-classifications, we like to call post-geometric. It's everything you would want from a modern sans-serif, only with a fist full of of personality sprinkled all over it. We realised the need for a conventional and useable sans, everybody seems to want them but the world doesn't need another soulless grotesk. So we drew our own.
