Organic Molasses is made during the production of our Organic Sugar. It is a good source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements naturally present in the sugar cane plant and is a good source of iron, vitamin B6, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Our Organic Molasses is naturally gluten-free, vegan, and kosher.
Traditionally, molasses is the syrup left over when cane or beet sugar is made into table sugar. But molasses today is often made by blending the syrup with a sugar solution, which ensures uniform quality. Blackstrap molasses is the only form with any nutritional pluses, notably iron, calcium, and potassium.
