HOBIE Nut
Description
A very common size Nylock nut used on Mirage Drives and in many places on the Hobie Catamarans. Also a common size used in mounting fishing rod holder bases.
Thin stainless steel 1/2-13 hex nut with nylock insert will not rust or work loose if properly installed.
Used on 1/2" pylon bolt on most older Hobie 16’s (changed to 3/8" in 1994).
