This lamp/fixture combo is also a more economical alternative to more expensive 630w CMH fixtures that use two lamps and ballasts with the new Grower’s Choice 500w lamp high efficiency producing nearly the same output as two 315w CMH lamps used in 630w CMH fixtures.
