A single-player/multiplayer racing video game for the PS3 console, Grid 2 Brands Hatch has been developed by Codemasters Southam and published by Codemasters. Rated 3 by PEGI, Grid 2 is a sequel to the critically acclaimed BAFTA Award-winning game Race Driver: Grid which is also called Grid. This game includes many cars from the past four decades. Various real world cities and locations such as Paris are available as well. Developer Codemasters Southam has incorporated a new handling system called “TrueFeel” which hopes to hit the sweet spot between accessibility and realism for players. The first-person cockpit view is not included in the races of this game. The player is given certain cars prior to some race modes; other cars can be unlocked by taking up various vehicle challenges. Preset graphic designs with varying shades and colours can be used by the player to customize car liveries. The EGO Game Technology Platform drastically enhances visuals so that your gaming experience is much more realistic. Grid 2 includes a highly-competitive racing event called World Series Racing where players get to race on different tracks in various continents all across the globe. The Live Routes Mode dynamically changes the circuit track; there is no track map here. The different race types include Time Attack, Race, Eliminator, Overtake, Face-off, Drift, Touge, Checkpoint and Vehicle Challenges.
