Greek Bronzes

Rolley surveys ancient bronze-working from the tenth to the first centuries B.C. As Professor Boardman says in his Foreword: "there has been no comprehensive and detailed account of Greek bronzes for over 50 years." This book rectifies that omission. There are 262 illustrations in black and white and 40 in colour; a Glossary of technical terms; an Iconography; 3 maps; and a comprehensive Bibliography. There is a List of Museums where the objects illustrated may be seen.
