In this encyclopedic collection author Jim Hall has provided the most detailed guide to Goodyear rubber buttons ever compiled. Hall has been collecting and researching both uniform buttons and Goodyear rubber buttons for many years. Most notably his work on Jennens backmarks was published in the British Button Society's magazine "Button Lines." He found that although there were many good reference books for uniform buttons that assigned unique identification numbers and descriptions the same was not true for Goodyear buttons.
