Jillian "Jill" Conway (Amanda Seyfried) is a young woman who lives in Portland, Oregon with her sister Molly (Emily Wickersham), who is a recovering alcoholic. One year ago, Jill was kidnapped by a brutal serial killer who put her in a hole in Forest Park, which is a huge, 5,000 acre park, and she found human remains in the hole. When her abductor descended into the hole to kill her, Jill was able to stab him with a bone, climb his rope ladder, and return to civilization.
