The story of the Waihi reef system, which became one of the most productivve gold mines in the world. At its peak in 1909 it treated an annual 400,000 tons of ore for almost a million pounds. Signed by author on title page. Included is a letter from T. J. Hadden to "John" (last name not indicated) stating "Dear John, Just a quick note to thank you for all the wonderful arrangements made and laid on for the Ketza River mine opening. A really professional job was performed by all the Canamax people.
