The 2" cube cell grid attaches to the recess lip outside of the diffusion screen and effectively controls the beam spread and light spill for a 40 degree dramatic soft touch. The lightweight grid adds fine tuning to your photographic art with a distinct lighting advantage to the common softbox. Grids are key modifiers for any lighting system. It acts as a 'spill-kill', a conduit of the beam to limit the uncontrolled spread emanating from the diffused light panel.
