Glory(Blu-ray English)

Boasting of a legendary star cast that includes Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington, Cary Elwes and Morgan Freeman, Glory (1989) , that has elements of war, drama and history, centers around the famous black regiment that fought against the north in the American Civil War. Captain Robert Shaw is given the honor of heading the all-black regiment but faces a series of dilemmas to ensure that racism does not come in between. The movie goes on to show that even though the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry had to go through immense trouble, their struggles were for a noble cause which motivated them to recruit more black candidates for the post in the oncoming years.
