Three years later I used almost only procreate for my illustration job. I'm started convert my favorite pattern to use it in Procreate. Simple to use, full customizable, you can play and speed up your work in a row. It's intuitive and you can combined these brushes with other brushes to add texture on top. Try to move between Texturised and Moving in the Grain panel to have overlapping, change the Scale size for a quick adjustment of the effect you want. Updates available for free.
