General International 12" x 38" Wood Lathe

12" x 38" heavy duty industrial wood lathe with a totally enclosed fan cooled 1HP motor. This lathe weighs over 280 lbs for a sturdy turning experience along with a variable speed from 500 RPM up to 3000 RPM. This lathe is the classic general wood lathes that turners love to use in their shops. With a 1" x 8 TPI thread on the head stock allows for all the common chuck, faceplate and other accessories to be used with confidence. There is a 5/8" bore on the headstock and a #2 Morse taper on the tail stock to accommodate all the popular live centers. There is also a 4" threaded tail stock travel for end drilling your bowl stock. Electrical testing laboratory certified (ETL).
