This advanced device extends and distributes VGA, USB, RS-232, IR, and 2-way audio over a Gigabit Local Area Network (LAN), supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). The Sender and Receiver units can be configured either automatically or manually to unique IP addresses, allowing for the connection of multiple units to the same network. This feature enables the creation of a virtual crosspoint matrix of over 65,000 Sender and Receiver units, depending on the network bandwidth and the number of ports on the network switch. The VGA and KVM Over IP Sender is compatible with any combination of HDMI, DVI, and VGA Senders and Receivers. Each Receiver unit comes equipped with a built-in Ethernet switch and two additional RJ-45 Ethernet ports, facilitating the connection of computers and other IP-enabled devices. The device supports USB 2.0 data rates up to 480 Mbps and is backward-compatible with USB 1.1.
