Gayam
Description
Buah gayam berasal dari pohon gayam (Inocarpus fagifer) yang merupakan tanaman asli Indonesia. Pohon gayam biasanya tumbuh di daerah tropis seperti di Asia Tenggara dan Kepulauan Pasifik.
Buah gayam memiliki bentuk bulat, berwarna hijau saat muda dan berubah menjadi cokelat kehitaman saat matang. Daging buahnya manis dan sedikit berair.
Langkah-langkah merebus gayam adalah:
1. Cuci bersih gayam
2. Rebus gayam bersama daun simbukan sampai empuk
3. Tutup rapat panci agar uap tidak keluar
4. Tambahkan garam
5. Matikan api dan tiriskan
6. Sajikan selagi hangat
