BHEJA FRY Ranjeet Thandani lives a wealthy lifestyle in Mumbai along with his wife, sheetal, who is singer while he manages Soundtrack Industries. At the request of his friend, Jagdish Vermam he decides to invite a singer and Libranm Bharat Bhushan, to his residence for dinner, as well as listen to him sing. Ranjeet, sufering from back pain, does not realize that Bharat is also an Income-Tax Inspector, and upon arrival at Ranjeet's residence, will virtually and hilariously turn his life upside down. And they all end up on the Mumbai-Goa highway hoping to lay their hands on the ill-gotten wealth before the eventful night fades out. So what if it means a tryst with guns and gore. RAAT GAYI BAAT GAYI If you loved the artistic kind of movies made in the 70s&80s, then you will readily appericate the eddorts put in "Raat Gayi Baat Gayi" accompained by many superlative performances to enjoy. the best act comes from Rajat Kapoor and Vinay Pathak, which gets equally supported by the sizzling beauty. Neha Dhupia who looks too hot in her revealing outfits. Rest of the cast includes, Dalip Tahil, Irawati Harshe, Anu Menon, Navnit Nisshan and Aamir Bashir, who also provide many funny and amusing moments for the viewers. To complete the team lead by Rajat Kappor there are few special cameos too made by the well known, Ranvir Shorey, Marakand Deshpande and the renowned director Sudhir Mishra.Interestingly both Ranvir and Marakand "Kukkad" dish and Marakand is showing his plamistry skills to lady. Incidentally, "Raat Gayi Baat Gay" reminded me of another ealimtic gem called "Party"' (1984). Summing up, "Raat Gayi Baat Gayi" is a well directed and superbly acted movie which will mostly appeal to the thinking viewers who love the realistic, offbeat and artistic kind if cinema Go for it if you are a fan this particular genre.
