From the art of the Medicis to the tables of today

It places marvelous artistic work from the Medici collections beside the recipes which they inspire. Thus, near the picture of 'plums' by Bartolomeo Bimbi, for example, we find the recipe for 'Turkey breast with prune stuffing.'
