From Kansas Sunflowers to Saltwater: With Some Cowboyin' Thrown In

The first half of this book deals with the first seventeen years of my life, only made exceptional by the time period involved; the beginning and duration of the Great Depression. In it I try to describe the conditions that existed during that notable time, including some Politics and a smattering of History. I have necessarily included a lot about me and those I grew up with to depict the rural living, work and play norms of the time. I have no intent to offend or make light of any of those named in this work. All the incidents are as true as I can recall. I know there will be those of my readers who will be critical of my disregard or total ignorance of proper grammatical construction in this writing. Sorry about that. Just trying to tell the story.
