special limited edition. fine in publisher's marbled slipcase. volume 1 is a spanish transcription bound in 1/4 leather, profusely illustrated. volume 2 is a complete diary in true detailed facsimile on fine quality paper, bound in full blue leather with gilt lettering, 99 pages. this scarce edition was published in an edition of 3000 for the friends and clients of 3 mexican institutions (kahlo museum, banco de mexico, and, instituto nacional de bellas artes). this set is marked "ejemplo" and is unique thus.
