Directed by 9-time Primetime Emmy Award-winner Gregory Hoblit, Fracture is a crime-drama mystery film that stars Oscar Award-winner Anthony Hopkins of Silence of the Lambs fame, 4-time Golden Globe Award-nominee Ryan Gosling (played the leading role in The Notebook) and David Strathairn. Fracture follows an ingenious structural engineer named Ted Crawford, who, after finding out that his wife has had an affair, shoots her at point blank range. Once Willy Beachum, a ambitious prosecutor/lawyer, enters the scene and gets more involved in the case, he soon finds himself confronted by the manipulative Ted; Willy now has to decide if he will abide by his own idea of ethics or succumb to the lure of power and corruption.
