A memoir of trail maintenance, fire fighting and flying on the Chelan Ranger District, Wenatchee National Forest. Rich Faletto worked clearing trails and fighting fire around Washington State's incredible Lake Chelan in the 1960s. His last summer was spent flying fire patrol both as a spotter and a pilot.
