Description
Because professional photographers require versatility and precision, the Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Sony Alpha A-Mount (and Minolta AF) DSLR Lens to Canon RF (EOS-R) Mount Mirrorless Camera Body is designed to meet these exacting standards. This adapter allows you to mount Sony Alpha A-Mount and Minolta AF DSLR lenses onto Canon RF Mount cameras, expanding your creative possibilities and breathing new life into vintage lenses. As part of Fotodiox's extensive range of lens adapters, this product offers the largest selection in the world, enabling photographers to mix and match camera and lens platforms. This adapter ensures infinity focus and manual aperture control, providing a sturdy and lasting quality that withstands the test of time.Crafted with the professional photographer in mind, this Pro Lens Mount Adapter is built to endure the rigors of demanding professional use. It offers a precise fit and solid connection, eliminating any play, gap, or wiggling. This ensures a stress-free experience, whether you're frequently switching lenses or keeping it mounted for extended periods.Constructed with precision all-metal, this adapter guarantees a secure and solid fit between your lens and camera. The chrome-plated brass mounts enhance durability and reliability, ensuring the lens-camera connection does not degrade over time. Please note that this is a manual adapter. Consequently, lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body, such as autofocus, AE metering, and image stabilization, will be disrupted. 'Focus-By-Wire' lenses, such as Canon's STM or Nikon's AF-P, require power to engage the manual focus rings. Since manual lens mount adapters do not power the lens, these lenses will not be able to focus. You can set your exposure manually or meter using your camera's Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode. If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, the lens aperture will revert to its default position, which, depending on the lens, is either stopped down to its largest f-stop or opened up to its smallest f-stop.
