I am Lamia bint Abbas bin Umarah bin Maran, I lived in the house of my grandfather to my mother, the Kansasbra Mandaean, Sheikh Joudeh Sheikh Damuk. I write what I saw with my own eyes, and what I actually did of rituals and customs that were prevalent in my environment with regard to food, and I write down information that I know that even my children do not know, because they were born and raised after World War II. And I write about food for the Mandaeans, because with its ancient rituals, analysis, and prohibition, it began to disappear from modern homes, their food that has a great relationship with their forms, the safety of their bodies, and their longevity. The Mandaeans have lived a mystery Not tempted by various suspicions, the severity of their reticence on their religion. Because of the many who suffered from persecution and the difficult circumstances they went through, it is surprising that the rest of them survive until now. Whoever watches the practices of this sect in baptisms, marriages, and burials, feels that time is still a child, and that he lives with the Mandaeans in very ancient times.
