The Black Arm Complete Dampening System with 31-42 Lbs Anti-Vibration Mount #3 and Pro Case is a robust 3-axis dampening system, specifically designed to stabilize roll and tilt errors, as well as vertical motion and vibrations. This sturdy system is a hardmount solution, ideal for mounting gimbals on a variety of vehicles including cars, ATVs, boats, and snowmobiles, making it a versatile choice for diverse shooting environments.This high-quality dampening system is engineered for users working with higher loads, carrying between 11-70 lbs (5-32kg). It comes equipped with four 7.0mm springs and four 7.5mm springs, covering the entire weight range. The springs can be used in single or dual configuration, enabling precise lift adjustment according to your needs.The damping action across all axes - vertical, tilt, and roll - is facilitated by custom-made actuator hydraulic dampers that are fully adjustable. With a 22-step adjustment knob, you can dial in the exact amount of damping required for your shot. The system includes a total of six dampers, allowing for dual dampers on each axis if needed or as spares.The Black Arm Complete Dampening System also includes an Anti-Vibration Mount (AVM) designed to reduce high-frequency vibrations, such as engine noise from vehicles. The AVM is available in five different weight ranges for optimal efficiency and ease of use.The product is shipped in a Pro Case, featuring an all-black design to match the Black Arm. The case is equipped with powder-coated black metal corners, heavy-duty recessed handles, and butterfly catches. It also includes wheels for easy transportation, similar to a cabin bag. The interior foam is also black, maintaining the sleek exterior design.Mounting the Black Arm is straightforward, designed to clamp onto a standard 48-52mm speed rail. You can build a rig onto your vehicle using standard grip components like speed rail and dual clamps. The Black Arm can be easily clamped onto the rig, with two single clamps at the back of the arm. The system offers multiple ways to attach your gimbal to the Black Arm, with an included base plate featuring hole patterns to match the Freefly Toad in a hole and Cinemilled Universal Ronin mount. This allows for easy attachment of the MoVI and Ronin gimbals. Additionally, a Mitchell female mount is available for gimbals that use the Mitchell connector. On each side of the Black's head, there are cheese plates suitable for mounting batteries or Kenyon gyros.
