Rated 3 by PEGI, FIFA 10 is a single-player/multiplayer sports video game for the PS3 console. Developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports, FIFA 10 is the seventeenth installment in EA’s FIFA series of football simulation video games. FIFA 10 features more than 500 teams, 30 leagues and 41 national teams. The Russian Premier League is a new addition. 50 different stadiums have been included in FIFA 10. The Virtual Pro feature allows the user to create a player who must embark on a sporting experience that lasts for four "Be a Pro" seasons; one can utilize the same player in Manager Mode, a tournament, Lounge Mode, Kick-off and Arena. The Manager Mode has been advanced greatly in contrast to previous installments in this series; over 50 key enhancements have been made to this game. The Total Football Experience feature displays player fixtures, transfers and results in foreign leagues. The user can rotate his or her squad and handle the team’s line-up with the help of the assistant manager. Pre-season friendlies have been included in this game. Simulated matches are less random and are more based on the strength of the user’s team. The name of generic stadiums can be altered to reflect the title of the home ground of the player’s club. The finances of a player rely on his or her club’s board of directors instead of team sponsors. There are two budgets that the board of directors provide, i.e., the club budget and the wage budget. The generosity of the board of directors can be adjusted by changing the Board Difficulty setting. A more genuine transfer system has been added to FIFA 10. Changes have been made to the Player Experience and Growth System. The growth of a player is determined by in-game performance, achievements and demands given to the player. Skill, Physical and Mental are the three different categories where a player can gain experience. The Live Season feature in Manager Mode ensures that a player’s form improves or deteriorates based on performance.
