FIFA 04 is the eleventh installment in the FIFA series of football games. This game was given a score of 5 out of 5 from U.S. PlayStation Magazine while it was given a rating of 8 out of 10 from Official UK PlayStation Magazine. FIFA 04 features a balanced game engine. New animations that drastically improve the seamlessness in the movements of players through organic motion have been implemented in this game. The user can take control of players who don’t have the ball in their possession. One can jostle for space, call in tackles, send players on an impressive run easily with the click of a button and lose his or her marker as well. The team A.I. (artificial intelligence), attributes, playing styles, tactics and player personalities have been tweaked too. The Career Mode allows the user to live out his or her dream of being the best player-manager ever. You can develop your franchise and lead your club to the championship by executing calculated decisions. Stadium atmospheres at various venues have been improved too; there are over 300 new crowd chants and many officially licensed stadiums that one can pick from to play on. Furthermore, this game features 500 teams, 18 leagues and 10,000 players. Face-off against players from all across the world by taking part in EA Sports’ Online Competition Mode.
