Explorations in Typography

This popular type text book is now available in paperback! This new softcover edition of Explorations in Typography has all the same great typesetting examples and cool typefaces, as well as our handy visual index of page layouts and grids. You'll see the same excerpt from Stop Stealing Sheep by Erik Spiekermann and typeface descriptions by Stephen Coles along with our handy index of alternate typefaces that are low-cost or free for educational use. Explorations in Typography was awarded a Certificate of Typographic Excellence from the TDC (Type Directors Club) in 2017. The second edition was revised and expanded to include more typesetting examples and more typefaces as well as the contributions of Stephen Coles, editor of the well-known websites Typographica (typographic.org) and Fonts in Use (fontsinuse.com).
