Ephesus Ruins and Museum

Ephesus was an ancient Greek city, later a Roman city near present day Selcuk, Izmir Provence, Turkey. It was one of twelve cities of the Ionian League during the Classical Greek period. In the Roman period, Ephesus had a population of more than 250,000 in 1st century BC, which made it one of the largest cities in the Mediterranean World. It was famed for the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This is a guide book liberally filled with photos and diagrams. It highlights the ruins and the museum features.
