When one holds a supreme position in the army of a nation, on the face of war it is almost impossible to make a decision, a decision that’ll influence the path that would be taken by the future of two countries. Starring Tommy Lee Jones and Matthew Fox, Emperor is a historical war-drama that shows a general of the American army who at the end of WWII is put on a tight spot where he has to decide if the emperor of Japan should be hung or have his life spared. While this goes on, the story also follows the general’s love for an exchange student he had met years ago in America.
