Four foot-switchable Freeze modes: Moment, Sustain, Auto and Latch, plus a Live Effects mode where the dry signal is routed thru the built-in effects and the internal synth engine is disabled, are included.The polyphonic Superego+ works with guitar as well as other instruments including bass, keyboards, vocals, drums, etc. and comes equipped with an EHX 9.6DC-200 AC Adapter.Dry KnobControls the volume level of the dry signal.Effect KnobControls the volume of the effected signal.Attack KnobControls the fade-in speed of the frozen signal.Decay KnobControls the fade-out speed of the frozen signal.Rate KnobControls the rate/speed of the selected effect.Depth KnobControls the depth/amount of the selected effect.Threshold KnobControls how sensitive the Superego+ is to the input signal.Layer KnobIn SUSTAIN, AUTO, and LATCH modes, use the LAYER knob to set the level of the previously frozen signal when it is mixed with a newly frozen signal.Effects Selector KnobSelects which of the 11 effects will be applied to the frozen or effected signal when the EFFECT footswitch is engaged.EXT (External Control) JackUse a TRS three-button external/auxiliary switch to remotely control the footswitches.EXP (Expression) JackConnect a standard TRS expression pedal or control voltage (CV) between 0 to 5V to the EXP input to allow external control over the ATTACK, DECAY, RATE, DEPTH, THRESHOLD, LAYER and GLISS parameters.Return JackIf using the external effects loop, plug the output of the external effect(s) into the RETURN jack.Send JackIf you would like the freeze signal to go through an external effects chain while keeping your dry signal out of this chain, use the Superego+ built-in effects loop.Output JackUse this jack for the main output.Input JackPlug the output of another effects pedal or an instrument such as guitar, bass, or keyboard into this 1/4" input jack.Mode FootswitchCycles through the five modes indicated by the mode LEDs.Effect FootswitchTurns the internal effect section of the Superego+ on and off.Bypass FootswitchEnables or disables the Superego+ pedal. Depending on what mode the Superego+ is in, this footswitch can function as a freeze trigger, or an auto trigger enable/disable.
