This is an art book with B/W and colored illustrations of paintings of Christopher Columbus. Please see photos. In English,the title of this book means "The Admiral of One Hundred Faces". The Admiral was Christopher Columbus. The prologue begins: "There are no authentic portraits of Christopher Columbus. There are only 4 descriptions of his physique. The first was written by his son, Don Fernando (born when Columbus was 37 or 38). Fernando said "The admiral was a man well trained and more than medium height, with a long face, cheeks somewhat uploaded... Had the aquiline nose and clear eyes, .... In his youth he had blond hair, but on reaching thirty years completely turned gray."
