The harrowing true story of a woman trapped in Berlin when it was attacked and occupied by the Russian army. The woman kept a diary for 8 weeks about the state of the city and about her own personal circumstances, and after the war published her account with all its brutal honesty. The story brought back such painful memories in Germany that it could not be published there originally, but instead saw the light of day in an Americn edition. This is the German version.
