When the dead begin to walk with a ravenous appetite for human flesh, your only hope for survival is to kill, or you will be killed. Developed by Techland and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Dying Light is a survival horror, action role-playing video game that offers, both, the single-player and multiplayer modes. This game received a provisional rating of 18 from PEGI and this disc is meant for the PC. Set in a dystopian post-apocalyptic metropolis that is infested with zombie-like beings that were once human, Dying Light follows Kyle Crane, an undercover operative, who is sent to a fictional city called Harran to infiltrate the quarantine zone so as to locate a rogue agent named Kadir "Rais" Sulaiman. Kadir holds a file that could damage the reputation of Kyle’s agency. Once Kyle arrives at the quarantine zone he is confronted by a choice - complete assigned missions or help other survivors. The gameplay of Dying Light sees the player assuming the role of Kyle Crane. Travel the dark, open-world urban environment of Harran which is overrun by zombies that are more aggressive at night. There are also other creatures called the predators that only come out at night; they are far more vicious and horrendous than the typical zombies. Scavenge the urban environment for useful resources and craft weapons to keep yourself safe. You can choose from over 100 weapons, such as bats, knives, axes and sledgehammers, to battle the ruthless zombies; most of these weapons are meant for melee combat. The featured crafting system allows you to create a host of innovative weapons, like a wrench that’s wrapped in an electrified barbed wire. Freerun from building to building, grapple up walls and pounce on unsuspecting foes to stay alive. Up to four players can play together online in the co-op mode. “Be the Zombie”, a unique game mode, lets you play as a zombie in other players’ worlds. What else can be said when nightmarish creatures lurk in the shadows at dusk but good night and good luck?
