Created by Carl Banks and starring the voice talents of Alan Young, Russi Taylor, Terence McGovern, Chuck McCann and Joan Gerber, DuckTales is an animated adventure-comedy TV series that follows a wealthy, anthropomorphic duck named Uncle Scrooge, who, along with his three grand-nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, sets out on many magical adventures in order to find treasure; these voyages often require Scrooge and his grand-nephews to confront countless threats and villains. Scrooge is also often accompanied by other characters, notably, Donald Duck, Launchpad McQuack, Duckworth and Gyro Gearloose.
