The roads of the mountain had disappeared under heavy snow. Old Prashant was tired of walking and walking and walking all alone. Breath started leaving his constant company his knees gave way to icy snows. Before his weary eyes he started seeing the life he had lived Far very far he saw his own innocent childhood his youth divine and devoted Karuna Between him and Karuna was a never to meet distance of difficults which separated them forever Thoughts started travelling on the wings of thoughs How life meets these turns and twists of helplessness he did not know One day he suddently met Bimal his childhood friend. He had to stay with him for a few days. Bimal had to pay some money to the local Zamindar Bishambar. Regular demands and non availability of money was a hard blow for his heart. Bimal's wife could not see the condition of her husband. Without his knowledge she pawned her omaments. Bimal was free from the burden of Bishambar. But constant silence of Reva created a tumoil in his mind. Prashant tried and made them face the facts. Conditions started improving One day Pitambar younger and evil eyed brother of Bishambar entered Bimal's house with illicit intentions. Young orphan Jeetu came into his way. The innocent angel wanted to stop him. Jeetu was injured and all he got out of life was death.
