Deus Irae

In this story, he caused it, he pushed the button. There are a lot of strange growths, mutants and what not in this new world. The hero, Tibor McMaster, is an inc (incomplete) who has no arms or legs. He travels around in a cart pulled by a cow and has same sort of extensions for hands and arms, so he can feed and drink for himself. He is also a wonderful artist. The religion of the area is one that worships the 'God of Wrath,' but Christianity is still around, though it is a faint shadow of what it is now. This turns out to be a religious exposition. What is really neat is the meekness, in the Biblical sense (which is explained in the story), of the people who populate this story. Mr. McMaster is sent on a pigl (pilgrimage) to find the God of Wrath. He wants to paint the God of Wrath for a murch (church mural) and he does not want to mess it up with some variation or similitude that is not true to the actual visage of the God.
