Deleuze and Space (Deleuze Connections)

This volume brings together the latest thinking in spatial research, foregrounding the importance of Deleuze and Guattari's contributions to the theory of space. It focuses on concepts produced to theorize the changing conditions of spatial phenomena in globalized systems and cultural forms. Chapters from noted scholars explore the pertinence of Deleuze and Guattari's concepts for the analysis of contemporary architecture, the environment, contemporary film and emerging political and cultural formations. The diversity of the contributors' areas of specialization distinguishes this volume from the many other collections on Deleuze and Guattari. The editors strike a balance between range, on the one hand, and highly recognized figures who have established the contemporary scholarship on Deleuze and Guattari on the other.
