The journalist writer (Wafa) thought that with the martyrdom of her fiance, Khaled, three weeks before their wedding, that her life had ended, and that her happiness had been buried next to him, but a letter from an unknown girl came to her on her first day of work after a long period of mourning at the door of the Readers' Post Office, which she was supervising the editing of, and was written in calligraphy. A trembling little girl asks her to visit her, opens the doors of hope for her, and gives her a new life, love, and new feelings of a different kind that she had lost hope of living after Khaled's death, but it requires a lot of concessions from her, especially from a young woman of her age who is still young. The decision is difficult. The sacrifices are many, and the amount of responsibility placed on them is great. A long and bumpy road that she walks in loyalty, with love and willingly. Years pass, youth fades, and thorns in the road, but she is determined to reach the ship to safety despite the storms of life, and her path in that is love, sacrifice, and self-denial. About the Author Iman Hakim is a freelance writer, holds a BA in Archeology from Cairo University, and is a graduate of the (ONA) media training agency in electronic journalism and presenting talk shows. She was trained at the Al-Ahram Regional Institute of Journalism at the hands of an elite group of senior journalism professors at the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, and obtained (courses) in the arts of journalistic editing and article writing. She has several articles on some websites, such as the Veto website and the Al-Bashaer website, and some articles have also been published. On the pages of the Egyptian Rose Al-Youssef magazine, a collection of short stories entitled The Porter" was also published in 2018 by Merrit" Publishing and Distribution House.
