Deadbone; the First Testament of Cheech Wizard, the Cartoon Messiah [first edition]

Vaughn Bode, along with his fantastical cartoon art - "Junkwaffel", The Man, Cheech Wizard and the fantasy world of Deadbone with its Lizards and Broads - quickly entered into the cartoon Pantheon ... into the Underground Comix Mythology. This is the First Trade Edition of "Vaughn Bode's Deadbone - The First Testament of Cheech Wizard, the Cartoon Messiah", published in 1975 by Northern Comfort Communications, in Smithers, British Columbia. This was after the rare, limited, numbered and signed edition that had but a narrow circulation. The First Trade Edition is still considered rare, just not as scarce as the Limited Edition. There was a Second Edition issued in 1976. This 1975 copy is exceptionally well-preserved : bright and attractive, with the accompanying dust-jacket fully intact.
