De Bortoli Tempranillo Touriga 2019 750mL

The fruit for the 2019 vintage release of De Bortoli's Villages Heathcote Tempranillo Touriga was sourced from Heathcote Ridge and Willoughby Bridge Vineyards, located in Corop in the North of Heathcote's wine region.
15% whole bunch inclusion in the Tempranillo and Touriga. 6 months fermentation in 500 litre French oak puncheons (5% new). Regular maturation for aeration. Final blend 53% Tempranillo, 42% Touriga and a small amount of shiraz (5%).
The 2019 De Bortoli Villages Tempranillo Touriga has a deep red hue with a vibrant purple edge.
Deeply scented dark fruits, spice and cloves. Supple and integrated tannins.
Medium bodied, textural, ample character. Violets, wild herbs, dark plum.
