Dance With an Angel: The true story of an eight-year-old hero

It is said that angels walk amongst us, and we may not recognize their presence. I have known such an angel, 'Jeremy Miller.' He teaches us in Dance With An Angel that having the courage to give love freely has the power to heal and transform the world, one person at a time. Jeremy's love penetrated even the darkest of times as his mother physically abused him while he was living with, and dying from, AIDS. Jeremy came into our life when he was six years old, and I was his family's social worker. When every cell of our being may react to Jeremy's plight with bitterness, resentment, and even hatred, we're awe struck as this wise old soul chooses love. Early on I promised Jeremy that I would keep him safe. It is this promise that challenged me in ways I did not think possible.
