The Bucatini (also called Perciatelli) are of Neapolitan origin, with an elongated shape with a round section and internally perforated.
Bucatini all'Amatriciana is famous, with tomato sauce, bacon and a sprinkling of pecorino romano.
This rather versatile format is also excellent with butter, meat or fish sauces.
Bucatini are also perfect with vegetable sauces, prepared with a tomato sauce and the addition of peppers, aubergines, courgettes, olives and capers.
