Course of Irish History

This book is the first of its kind--a rapid survey, with a geographical introduction, of the whole course of Ireland's history from the middle stone age to 1966, written by twenty-one scholars, all specialists in their own fields. The book is based on the successful series of television programs first transmitted by Radio Telefis Eirann from January to June 1966.
