Just Cloudy Skies By Nora McInerney What was the defining moment that prompted me to take my son's life off the internet? I can't tell you because there is no defining moment, but hundreds of small moments. One of them is when he stood with his hands up like an angry celebrity when I took him to nursery on his first day and started shouting No more pictures. Or when he leaned over my phone to take a selfie with me and then asked me ten minutes later How many people liked the picture I had a nagging feeling that instead of documenting his childhood and collecting these fleeting moments in one place, I was displaying them and highlighting them and giving him the opportunity to tell his story the way he liked. Ralph was just a character in my show, which consisted of just me, where I played the role of the mother.
