Class Against Class: the Communi

Class Against Class is the first major study of the Great Britain's Communist Party (CPGB) between the First and Second World Wars. Matthew Worley looks at their adoption of a militant ""class against class"" strategy in their struggle to win the hearts and minds of the British working class. However, it is often said that this technique cut the CPGB's ties with other left-wing parties and alienated support from the wider Labour movement. Worley's revisionary study is based on newly unearthed material from the CPGB's archive that indicates that the party did not lack support or influence.
