The believer’s life is often compared in the Bible to the construction of a building. The foundation of a building is the most important part, as the size, weight and height of a building will depend on the depth, width and materials of the foundation. Once a foundation is set, then a dwelling can be erected and inhabited. These ‘Six Foundational Truths’ of Hebrews Chapter Six: repentance, faith, baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment; are the primary and vital spiritual foundations that must be laid solidly in a believers life.
